LAGG attended an ACE workshop and got to take part in some of the activities. Groups were asked to rap about each other and what they do. We had a blast. We also met some AMAZING highschool students who are going to change the world. Alliance for Climate Education
Mr. Stamen visited Girl Scout Troop 11865 in Torrance to teach them about Guerrilla Gardening and help create seedbombs. The girls were excited to get their hands dirty and learn how to beautify their neighborhoods.
We were very excited to have ABC do a story about our Spaceland dig as well as our project at Cassidy Preschool. Phillip (the newscaster) was SUCH a trooper. He had the pick axe in his hands more than Mr. Stamen did!
This dig was completely organized by high school GG group, The South Central Resistance. They encouraged family, friends and community members to make a difference in their neighborhood.
